Events at TLG

Tuckahoe Learning Grove hosts several events throughout the year that are open to the public. These events are designed for children ages 4 – 8 and are perfect for homeschooled kiddos!

Give your child the kind of summer childhood used to be made of — muddy hands, imaginative play, and long mornings outdoors.

TLG’s Summer Play Days are designed to be relaxed, playful, and full of exploration. Children will spend their days building fairy gardens, mixing nature potions, creating bug hotels, digging in the mud kitchen, exploring the woods, and following their curiosity wherever it leads.

Rather than a tightly scheduled camp, Summer Play Days offer a gentle rhythm of outdoor play, creative invitations, stories, and time to explore with friends. It’s the perfect balance of structure and freedom — where children can move, imagine, create, and simply be kids.

Small group sizes allow for a calm, nurturing environment where curiosity, creativity, and connection are at the heart of every day.

Bring your bike or scooter and join TLG for a fun morning of riding through mazes, washing bikes at the “car wash,” and refueling at the gas station! We’ll provide treats and drinks for the kiddos, please bring your own bike or scooter (and helmet)!
